Providing clients with a wide range of legal experience, Paul G. Skalny represents individuals, emerging and established businesses, and associations. Representing these clients in business and corporate matters, residential and commercial real estate transactions, litigation and loan transactions, Paul's approach is personal and solutions-oriented. In addition, Paul works with land owners, developers and builders in land use issues. An accomplished author on business law issues, Paul is a regular contributor to The Baltimore Business Journal, The Daily Record and The Business Monthly. Active in community leadership, Paul is the Past-Chair of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce, serves as the Vice-Chair of Leadership Howard County, of which he is also a 1998 graduate, and is a Director of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. Other memberships include the Business Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Home Builders Association of Maryland and both the Washington D.C. and Chesapeake Chapters of the Community Associations Institute. Involved in local education initiatives, he serves on, and is the past Chair of, the Superintendent's Advisory Council for Business-Education Partnership of the Howard County Public School System. Paul was educated at the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland School of Law. He is admitted to the Maryland Court of Appeals, the Superior Court for the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for Maryland and for the District of Columbia, and the United States Supreme Court.
